“I would describe Wanda as intelligent, informed, approachable, friendly, and enthusiastic. She was able to help me understand the implications of high cholesterol and think about ways to improve my situation. The biggest tangible change I have noticed is that I am more conscious of dietary choices and more aware of how to make positive choices”.
I would recommend Wanda to anyone who wants to explore medical and nutrition issues and work with an experienced practitioner who can help chart an effective and achievable path to better health. Working with Wanda was a very positive experience. I felt educated and empowered to make changes that would improve my health and just make me feel better day to day. I felt like I had an advocate, a reliable information source in making the changes I wanted to make.”

“I took a Medical Administrative Assisting course from March 2017 to June 2017 at the White Plains Education Center (under Westchester Community College) with a health educator named Dr. Wanda Jeanty. Although I have at least 7 years of experience in the healthcare field, I learned a lot more through this class. Dr. Jeanty covered the material in the textbook and went out of her way to cover the medicolegal aspects, HIPAA, health insurance, and front desk procedures that we had to know. She also took the time to show us how to use eCW (i.e., front desk procedures that we would use). In addition, the best part of the class was being evaluated for different front office scenarios by role-playing various situations that can occur at a medical practice and other ambulatory care settings. She is very knowledgeable about the healthcare field and made sure that we understood every concept. Not only was she patient, she made us feel comfortable in expressing ourselves and we delved into interesting topics during class. She prepared us for the certification exam by giving us practice tests. I passed the exam with a 451 out of 500 this past June and I could have not have done it without her encouraging words. If there are any additional classes that she will teach in the future, I want her as an educator”.

“In the several months I have been coached by Wanda she has been able to help me work through my personal goals by actively listening to my vision , helping me to breakdown my goals into manageable steps , and helping me work through my perceived challenges. The biggest change I noticed has been my confidence in my own abilities to move forward towards my vision. I now feel more empowered to reframe my thinking away from failure to lessons, and can now more easily form workable concrete solutions. I would describe Wanda as an empathetic listener, authentic in character , and nonjudgmental in her attitude. I highly recommend her !”

“I have worked with Wanda when she was a moderator and speaker for a couple of Health and Wellness Workshops that I scheduled for my organization. Wanda was absolutely wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of health and wellness, including healthy eating and exercise. Although she possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience, she is never judgmental or pedantic. The intent of both her teaching and presentation styles is to impart practical ways for her audience to manage their health and stay well. Based on my working experience with Wanda, I highly recommend her”.
